Dragon Ball Fusions is a Nintendo 3DS game released in Japan on August 4, 2016 and was released in North America on November 22, 2016 and in Europe and Australia on February 17, 2017. However, North American players who preordered the game from GameStop, were able to get the game on November 18, 2016.

In conjunction with the game, Shueisha and their partners ran a contest where entrants could submit their own designs for two Dragon Ball characters fused together, with the winning design(s) to appear in the game, as well as a special “manga project” in Saikyo Jump by Hiroshi Otoki. Select runners-up will also receive an “Extreme Heroes W (Double) Pack” signed by Masako Nozawa.
